  I want to know if I get a baby ferret, and bring it into my home (my bun will have free roam-and eventually the ferret too.) will they be able to get along?
  And good relationship with my rabbit is already established, and I assume if the ferret is a baby they can grow up together, and get along?
  
  Is there anything that could go wrong? or any reason i shouldn’t do this?

  Ferrets are used to hunt rabbits and other animals in many places. They have VERY high prey drives and it is near impossible to train it out of them (unlike a dog). It is not recommended to ever let a ferret and rabbit interact. They are carnivorous predators and rabbits are prey to them. I know they seem small and cute, but those teeth will slice a neck open fast.

  I agree with Stickerbunny. Ferrets hunt, kill, and eat rabbits. I think trying to bond them would likely end in tragedy

  No. Ferrets are carnivores, and will try to eat your bunny. Not a good idea at all. Ferrets are part of hte weasel family, and weasels are a rabbits major predator.

  The only good thing, if you can consider it that, is that rabbits (and ferrets) don’t live forever. Maybe once your rabbit passes (hopefully not for a long time!) you can get a ferret and enjoy that pet for his/her lifetime, without having to jeopardize the health/safety of another animal.
