While watching 101rabbits Youtube videos, watching a video about your house rabbits’ diet, Hailey from 101rabbits said that Kaytee was not a good brand. I was wondering if anyone had any reason why, as my Nali Bali gets Kaytee pellets and hay from Kaytee. Thanks! c:

Hi, your post is impossible to read – I tried to edit it but it looks funny.

Is it possible to post it in the regular text and in black…that way we can reply to this.

I also feed Kaytee, and all the ingredients seem good to me. I choose their healthier options for my bunny. i know some of their stuff is bad but I will be watching this thread to see what people say.

Kaytee makes a lot of things that are packaged for rabbits but aren’t good for them and over time it’s given them an overall negative image in the rabbit community. Basically, it’s a brand that can’t be trusted outright like Oxbow because they’re are inconsistent about making sure their products are rabbit safe/healthy.

Which type of their pellets are you feeding? The Timothy Complete line is pretty close to Oxbow (which is considered one of the best).

Thanks Sticker – I would still like her to know that her posts are unreadable (at least for me) :~)

And to answer your question LionHeadLove – it’s not that it is bad, it is that there are other brands out there better – that being said, which Kaytee rabbit pellets are you using? They have a wide variety of them so knowing which specific one you use would be helpful.
