That’s basically it. Harley is a couch surfer but my god if Sally jumps up there while he is on the couch he will annoy and hump her until she finally jumps off. He even pulled a good tuff of fur out a few minutes ago.

I really enjoy Harley’s company on the couch. He comes up to visit me all the time. But I don’t like that Sally can’t come socialize up here with me when he is up here. Do I just need to kick them off the couch? Or is it ok that he does this to her as long as she doesn’t seem too bothered by it?

I don’t really think it’s OK. He needs to either learn to behave on the couch with you both, or not be on the couch when she’s up there.
If you want them to take turns, you could get him to leave the couch by having him jump off and get a reward for being off it when she’s there.
Or, you could let her out with you while he is inside his habitat and can’t get there with her. I think she needs to be able to spend time there with you too, but not if it will lead to fights, even small ones.

Thank you! The only time Sally even shows interest on coming into the livingroom and especially on the couch with me is when Harley is out. I’m pretty sure if Harley is locked away, Sally will just stay over by the cage with him. But I can start kicking him off as soon as he starts misbehaving. Hopefully he catches on.

I will try the reward method first but I feel as though he will just hop right back up knowing I have treats…he is such a fatty :p
