My oldest bunny likes to dig in blankets, and my youngest like to play with bells and toliet paper rolls.  I want my boyfriend to build a play house for them, but what toys would they enjoy and engage them the most?

They have full roam of my house.

My bunnies LOVE the cottontail cottage in the Binkybunny store!

My bunnies are older and they enjoy food-related toys. Toilet paper rolls or treat bags (paper bags) with hay and little bits of treats (dried bunny-safe flowers, apple twigs, dried fruit, pellets etc). They also like destruction toys like willow balls (check out the BB store).

Some bunnies like diggy boxes. A cardboard box with a hole cut in it filled with shredded paper. Honestly, my bunnies just sat in it but all buns have different preferences.

                Why not healthy treats?

Right now, mine like their baby keys and Teach N Treat. They love their Tunnel Haven (from the BB store), but they are currently “grounded” from it. They were being way too naughty while sitting inside it.

I was really interested in getting the teach n treat. But my 1 1/2 year old rabbit doesn’t care much for toys, he would rather lounge around. Do you guys think it would interest him?

Every bunny is different, but mrs. coach loves the Teach & Treat (& I think, in general, food-related toys are a pretty easy sell for bunnies). When we adopted her, her foster mom said she wasn’t into toys. Now she has quite a few that she enjoys playing with. I have kept things out for long periods of time, though — sometimes something can sit for several weeks & then all of the sudden she develops an interest in it.

cardboard boxes… pull all the tape off except for a single strip needed to hold the back flaps closed.
buns will sit inside and shread the walls and floor for hours.
after a shredding session, most of the mess stays inside the box so you can just hold it over and empty it in the garbage.
