Hey everyone. I wanted to know what your thought are on the Oxbow natural science sublements. Can these treats be fed regularly or just for certain situations.

        There are :

        Digestive Support

        Imune support

        Joint support

        Multi-vitamin

        Senior support

        Skin and Coat

        Urinary support

        and Vatamin C

Has anyone tried them? I was also wondering what Critical Care is and how it is used

Well, I really have no proof of the benefits of these supplements. All I know is my buns LOVE them. Especially the digestive. They smell really good. I’ve also tried Joint and Urinary. They like those too.

At the very least it’s a great tasting, healthy cookie. There is a daily recommendation on the bottle for the weight of your bun. I gave mine 1 per day.

Critical Care is a powder food that is used to feed bunnies and small herbivores that are not eating on their own. It gives them the nutrients and fiber they need.  It is mixed with water and fed with a syringe.  Very handy for all bunny owners to keep on hand in case of stasis or other situation where your bunny needs to be force fed.

I agree with LPT – they are probably great treats and I use them that way as well – the thing with supplements is there is no proof of the benefits as LPT says. Also a few of those supplements don’t appear to be out yet according to the Oxbow website.

When I was looking at the oxbow website it said that critical care was only to be purchased by veterinarians. Could I still buy it just in case of emergencies or should I just leave it up to the vets to give.

I give Sally one tab a day of the digestive support. She LOVES them. she goes crazy when I shake the bottle! I give Harley a banana chip a day from the Oxbow Simple Rewards thing and he goes CRAZY for those lol

The Binky Bunny store carries Critical Care – it is under the supply section.
