Hi, I live in S. Korea so my selection of veggies at the grocery store tends to vary a lot from the norm.  I am slowly incorporating veggies and so far she’s only had lettuce (no iceburg obviously), spinach and bok choy and she loves loves loves her nightly salads so I’m excited to introduce some new flavors to her.  Does anyone know if it’s okay to feed bunnies sesame leaves?  They are quite common here (and cheap) but I don’t know if it’s okay to give to my baby girl.  They are perfectly safe for humans but there is so much conflicting information on rabbit’s diets that I wanted to check first.  Here is a picture in case anyone is unfamiliar with sesame leaves.

I had to look this up and it say’s it also called Shiso and is part of the mint family – I think it would be fine. I don’t think it’s listed just because it’s not something commonly found (although even some of the more commonly found greens aren’t listed either).

Just like any other green though start with a small amount to introduce it to them.

I didn’t find them on the BB list, but am giving you the link to it anyway.

It’s in the Info section under diet. I have printed out this list and kept it in my kitchen for when I go shopping. It is so helpful as a reminder of many fruits and veggies. Comes in handy.

I know – I wish we could give you a definitive answer but I’m not at all familiar with this although I would probably give it to my rabbits.
