        Hi all,

Thinking of getting an ex pen. What size do you recommend for a mini lop? Also, are they really sturdy and safe enough to leave my Boons cage open and the ex pen set up around it when I leave the house? I don’t want him getting into trouble but would love for him to have a larger space while I’m gone.

        Thanks for any info

I would get it as high as you can – they come in different height but they are always 4 x 4 feet (square). As for the cage, you don’t need a cage with this and it would take up too much of the floor space in my opinion. It’s definitely sturdy enough if you keep in the square shape.

Agreed with Sarita. If you leave it in the circle shape your bun will be able to move it. I learned this with Bindi. He drug the X-pen halfway across the kitchen.
