Mine likes herbs the most, parsley, basil, mint & cilantro. He also like radishes/tops, mustard greens, turnip greens, kale, all the lettuces, baby bok choy, pretty much anything I put in front of him.

I haven’t had him reject a vegetable yet, the only thing that took a long time for him to want to eat was celery. It took over a year for him to be ok with it lol.

Sally seems to really go for kale and parsley first. Harley eats whatever he can grab first. He’s such a piggy.

Bam prefers dandelion greens, parsley and mint. He’s a picky and spoilt bunny. If there’s sth he doesn’t like, mummy exchanges it for sth tastier.

Yohio isn’t picky. He’s not refused anything I’ve given him.

Herbs are pretty popular with Java. His favorites would be: Cilantro, Basil (any type), Dill, Kale, and Dandelion.

Carrot tops, dandelion greens and flowers, romaine (Duchess won’t eat a salad if it doesn’t have romaine in it.) and parsley seems to be what they eat very first when they get them. But Nala will eat just about anything that is edible.

                          Powder: Cilantro, dandelion, kale

                          Stickers: Parsley, kale, carrots

They try to steal the kale out of each others mouths. They are not very good at sharing.

I get mine from my yard, or my grandparents yard because they’re not near the main roads, and we don’t use pesticides. They’re litterally everywhere, because they’re weeds. But, you can also buy the greens in the store, (I get mine at giant eagle, but it obviously changes from place to place.) In my opinion, it’s over priced for what I can get in my own yard plus flowers, for free. If you use pesticides or live by a busy road, then I wouldn’t suggest collecting them yourself. Also here’s a photo, so you know, they turn into the white seed heads.

The greens are the leaves of it, and they can eat all parts of the plant, including the roots, mine just won’t eat the roots. I wouldn’t feed them the seeds though.

I get my dandelion greens from a produce store…my buns also love radicchio, carrot tops, cilantro, parsley, endive, kale, bok choy, and romaine lettuce, I just try to rotate some of the veggies so they don’t get bored.

I’m in Northern California and I get mine from the local Farmer’s Market. They’re AMAZING there because the leaves are absolutely massive (and organic)! I’ve never seen them sold at a general grocery store like Safeway, unfortunately. Your best bet would be to find a nice FM if possible. Good luck!

We sell them at Giant, but theyre over priced. I work there and get my bun’s food from a competitor or farmer’s market.

Dandelion greens are sold in some grocery stores but not in all. There are four major chain stores near where I live but only one (FreshCo) stocks them, and it does year round. I suspect not coincidentally it has by far the best selection of greens, a truly impressive variety, and large bunches of herbs. It is the only local grocery that stocks kale and collard greens too. Point is they are available in some and its always worth checking.

Suri and Buttons are 12 weeks so I’ve started them on veg and it’s gone down VERY well! The favourites seem to be dandilion, parsely and brocolli. They like carrots but I limit them as they seem to upset their tummies and they’ll nibble on spinach but Buttons really isnt that keen, early days though!
Here’s Suri with her first bit of dandilion!
