This is his current x-pen set up. He doesn’t have many toys except for the square white/green/blue thing called a teach n’ treat. I can change it to three different difficulties and he has to figure it out to get treats/pellets. I also use a treat ball sometimes for his pellets. I also have a crinkle tunnel that he likes to play in and jump on top of  he likes to make noise). I think he is getting bored though lately because he keeps rearranging his pen every single day (and boy does he get mad if I put stuff  back to where it was) or digging in a corner of his pen and pulling on the bars even if the door is open. He spends most of the day sleeping under my bed sleeping and sits in his pen at night or runs around the apartment.

Since he doesn’t have teeth though anymore  (removed because of maloclusion) he can’t chew on things like willow anymore or rip stuff up. I don’t know what other toys I can get him or make him though. He can still pick things up with his mouth, he picks up a side and slams his litterbox down if I put it in the wrong spot, and he picks up the little blue lids on the teach n treat to get his treats. I’m just worried he might be bored lately and I don’t want him to be unhappy . Just wondering if anyone has any toy ideas for him.

        Bonus pic of him:

Omg… I love him. I think the picture thread needs more of him ;P

If he likes to toss and move stuff around around then maybe some baby keys or those plastic stacking cups might give him some fun. I think some people also use the interlocking baby toys like this:

            I thought of keys too.
I also would suggest a maze haven. You can shape it so he can run around and through it, on one or several levels (if he likes climbing.) then you can take it apart after he gets bored and reshape it so the maze changes and the holes are in different spots. It’s like playing in tunnels.

Also, a diggy box. There’s a video of BB’s bunny shoving shredded paper out of her cardboard box, and having a lot of fun digging and pushing it around.

You also could use soft treats (can he handle raisins?) as a reward and teach him clicker training. He sounds smart, and might really enjoy learning to run an obstacle course.

The keys, links and stacking cups are a good idea. I’ll see about getting them tomorrow when I go out.

He definitely likes climbing lol. I always catch him on the bookshelves and hiding in the baskets I keep stuff in. He has no problem with treats. I use craisins in his teach n’ treat. I’ve wanted to get him a maze but it was always OOS when I looked. I’ll probably get that soon and look into clicker training, he is smart. A little too smart

              Thanks for the ideas!!

I was going to suggest things that he can toss too. =] But if he likes to climb. The Maze Haven is great. And if he has access to any windows maybe you can build him steps up to the window with cardboard boxes so he can look out? I would, also, cut some holes in the boxes so that he could chill out in them too if he wants.
