While I was cleaning out my house, I saw an old stuffed bunny. I immediately thought of bunnies, and now I think it would be a great toy for a bunny. Maybe a pic would help.

        That’s the front.

And that’s the back. The fur is pretty badly matted, except for the ears. Sorry for the bad lighting!

Stuffed animals are fine for rabbits. Just make sure their are no parts that could easily be chewed of and swallowed. My bunnies LOVE their stuffed monkeys!

            Would the tail be okay?

As long as it doesn’t feel like it is going to come off when you gently tug at it.

I’ve pretty much got a newer version of that bunny, I tried showing it to Vienna, but it got attacked.

I washed the bunny. (The stuffed one.) Would the fact the even I can smell the fabric softener make a difference? If so, what could I do about it?

I would rewash it with just a water cycle (no soap). That smell will be really strong to your bun.

I always caution people to supervise carefully when giving stuffed toys to make sure bunny is not chewing/ingesting pieces. Some buns leave them alone, some want to chew them.
