Leopold was doing the strangest thing just now. He was sitting in front of the water bottle (which they seem to prefer) and he was going *lick lick chin* on the spout. Then he would immediately groom his chest and sides and spread the water on his fur. And then he would repeat the process. He did this several times until he realized I was standing there watching him. Has anyone ever witnessed this behavior? Is this like their own personal bunny wash?

Hmmm I have never witnessed Sally doing this but I have seen her coming out of her pen feeling damp in a few places and her front paws would be SOAKED! I have a feeling she is dipping her two front feet in the water and rubbing her face… OR she keeps stepping in her water bowl and it’s all an accident lol

Leopold sounds pretty smart to me. I haven’t had a bunny do this, but mostly because I use a water crock.

Leopold is a very smart boy. Sometimes too smart! So you think that’s what he is trying to do then?
