I built the rabbits a new home! I’m moving in two weeks so the dog crate portion will move with me and I will have to make up a new exercise area for them after I settle. It took almost no time to build the 2nd level of the crate where I feel a NIC cube condo would have been a few hours of construction

        .

It might cost a little more but I would recommend the large size dog crate to anyone considering the NIC cube option.

Lucky buns! If the foam flooring is a new addition, just be sure to pay close attention to make sure you don’t have any munchers. I have the same flooring as you and don’t have any issues but I know it could be pretty tempting for some buns

One of my buns is actually toothless. Winston will chew a piece here or there but normally he is good.

Wow — this looks nice. I used those types of mats before too. Luckily by bunnies only tested it with a few nibbles here and there. Some bunnies do seem to enjoy chewing on rubber so each bunny owner definitely has to figure out what is best.  Because the edges of the mats are positioned outside of the pen, that should lessen chewing issues with your bunny that does have teeth.

These mats are good for bunnies who have good litterbox habits, otherwise urine can seep through the cracks, and settle underneath and really smell. So just watch that as well. Other than those two cautions, it looks good and I bet your bunnies are happy!
