Our male 6 month old holland lop was until a couple of weeks ago very outgoing and inquisitive, to the point that he was very naughty!
However, now all he does is hang around in his cage or under the table. He used to love sleeping on the sofa next to me and exploring the kitchen but now he seems scared of doing both!

We miss our loving bunny but don’t know how to get him back. He was neutered 6 weeks ago and we had a friend to stay for two nights around the time he changed, could this affect his behaviour? If so, how do we convince him there’s nothing to be scared of now?

        Thanks guys for any advice!

My first concern would be a health problem. Any drastic change in personality is cause for a vet check. Neutering should not have caused such a drastic change. I would eliminate any possible health problem first with a vet visit.

I was thinking the same but he was at the vets about 10 days ago and was given the all clear apart from his usual allergies for which he is on Piriton (he’s been on this on and off for a couple of months)
