  I want to make a new NIC condo like this one, but slightly larger. It would have 4 stories and different flooring. This cage would be for my Holland lop. Do you think this is a good design? Any improvements? I just found this online, and I liked the setup because it allows for maximum space w/ out taking up lots of floor space.

  It’s great! I can’t see a ‘bed’ area though. It all looks a bit hard. It might be hidden though. It looks better for playtime. You could put a large tray of hay, or a towel down or maybe dedicate an area for bed time.

  I will certainly add a bed. There is a lot missing that I would add in. The main idea is where the flooring is placed.

  Do you think only having one panel for the bun to jump on would be bad? Like, if the front had 1 more panel sticking out? I mean like one extra protrusion on the end of the panel for extra space.

  You mean just having a hole for him to get from level to level instead of a full condo width slit?
  
  If that’s what you mean, I would say no. The wide opening not only lets him go from level to level, it also gives him tall standing up room.
