        Hey guys!

so, I saw a post that was old (so I couldn’t respond to it and tell her how AWESOME her idea was!! &nbsp but there was a teensy part of it that I just found cool and shareable. There are some people here on BB that strive for fashionable bunny condos, so what i found would be helpful. I can’t quote it for some reason, but what you do is make a floor out of plywood, seal the wood, and… Coat it with duct tape!!! She used three layers so it would be soft-ish and said its not slippery at all!!! I smell rainbow floors in the future…..

The problem I could see happening with duct tape flooring is a rabbit could easily chew it. I have duct tape on some homemade litter screens and they are scummy and little crumbs and hay easily stick to them. If the that stuff wasn’t an issue then it would be very cute! But I personally would not do it.

If the bun isn’t attracted to rubber, you could skip the sealing the wood and just paint/coat it with rubber which seals and is more permanent. Paint-able rubber also comes in different colors.

What I did was a purchased an extra set of sheets that matched mine, and once I got the wood flooring for my cage, I put a layer of soft fluffy stuff, the sheet which matched my bed and then some of the things grannies put on top of their chairs to keep them clean This keeps everything looking nice and stylish, but is also very practical and comfy for the bunnies

Or maybe, you could just put the clear chair stuff over the duct tape! I’m a huge duct tape fan, I might try this.
