        Hi everyone!

My name is Helen, my princess is called Twitch and we’re up early this morning to play. I’m guessing most of you guys are over in the US? Not sure, but hi from the UK anyway! I say play – T is pretty much just chewing on stuff.

So I’m here to meet fellow bun owners, talk annoyingly constantly about how wonderful my bun is, and to get occasional advice too – I’ve never had a bunny before, but she’s definitely changed how we do things around here… Wouldn’t be without her for the world now

I’m 25, and Twitch is a spayed doe of 5 months, and full of mad bunny beans. We’ve got no idea what breed she is – all we know is she’s been labelled as an English cross. She’s really long though, we keep wondering if there’s some giant bunny in her!

There’s a pic of her on my avatar, but I’ve not worked out how to post a pic on a post yet!!

          Welcome Helen & Twitch!

We are based in the US but we have many members in the UK, along with Canada, Australia, Greece, and other global locations. I guess our common denominator is using English to post, but that’s about it.

I urge you to start at the Home page and read through the Info. sections available from there as well as the drop down menus in the banner at the top. You;ll find that many of your questions will be answered before they’re asked, and you’ll learn what to expect from your pretty girl.

She’s coming up on the age where here hormones are kicking in, producing feisty, even aggressive behavior. It’s time to get her to a vet for a check-up and make an appointment for a spay. Females have a very high chance of getting cancer as well as pregnant, so you are doing her a huge favor if you get it done as soon as a vet says she’s old enough. It’s an up front expense that is really vital in the long run. Plus, she will be much more calmed down in the months afterward, and for years to come.
Read the Technical Forum for instructions on posting pix. We love to see them, usually in the Lounge!

Thank you 🙂 I’ve been reading lots around and there’s lots I have left to learn, for sure!

We’ve had her spayed already, about 3 weeks ago now, and she’s healed up well. Just pity that she’s un-litter trained herself so we have to keep her away from the sofa!! We’ve at least solved the sofa chewing issue now 🙂

Hi and Welcome to you both!

Twitch is so cute! Would love to see more pics of her. From what I can see, she looks like the wild rabbits we have here (I’m in Canada).

Neat that you’re from England. It’s my dream to go there. I’m a huge history buff and would love to visit all the historical places there.
