I was at the store today and I saw that they were selling kiwi branch sticks for small animals. They were by the brand “Living World”. I coudnt find anything online about them so I thought I would ask if they were safe.

I know someone who uses kiwi branch sticks for her bunny, but they are pretty much ignored. I’ve seen them sold too, but I think untreated apple or willow sticks are safer, ( and cheaper! ) because I know bunnies can have those, and apple twigs have been stripped totally by my buns. Also they are probably come across a lot more by wild buns, so more natural. I just saw a forum on rabbits united with a similar thing, and someone said ‘ I got some, let my bunnies have a nibble and a few hours later Milly stopped eating with a gassy tummy… So I won’t risk them now and I gave them to the mice/hamster.’ So I don’t think they are safe.
