If I start growing a large bed of grass for my rabbit to munch and play in, Is it safe? What grasses are safe? How often can he have access to this? Would It be of any benefit, or is it kindof a waste of Time? I would Really like To, but only if it isnt going to hurt him.

I take the seeds from my hay and grow that for my rabbits and they love it. As for regular lawn grass, I would imagin that it is ok also as there is no pesticide or fertalizer use don it. But I can’t tell you if its safe, i just know I had a bunny lng ago and he never got sick from it.

growing timothy grass or orchard grass isn’t a bad idea. Just make sure no pesticides are used, and keep it awy from other nasty critters

I know that some members have grown wheat grass for their bunnies too, which you can usually find in health food stores. They definitely seem to enjoy the grass, but it’s not something that you can leave out for them to munch at will, since they’ll probably mow it all the way down and ruin the crop. As long as you let it grow in between, it should be fine .

I grow wheat grass or cat grass, whatever name it goes by haha! It is good for a bunny and human. It takes me about 2 weeks to grow a pot of it, so I grow 5 pots at a time. Bunnies enjoy wheat grass
