I have been bonding my bunnies for a week now and they have had some small fights all started by Vienna ( nothing too serious ) The bonding is going quite well and they have touched noses and groomed themselves by each other, but Vienna gets stressed quite easily, we have given her a day off bonding ( she lives next to Oreo though and they swap houses regularly ) Vienna has been off her food lately. She isn’t ill as she is binkying around and nibbling grass as I type! But she has eaten a lot less, she only nibbled at her pellets last night and ate about half her salad. She still eats her treats though! Is there anything I can do to ease her stress? Or will she just have to get used to it?

I understand that it’s generally okay to house both cages in the same room – as long as the cage is at least 3-5 inches apart. Unfortunately for my buns, I found that my 1st bun was entirely too stressed and territorial to house the new baby bunny in the same room. So we had to set up the new bun in another part of the house.

If Vienna doesn’t calm down and resume eating, you may want to move the new bun to another room…and try again to house them in the same room a little later.

Well, I don’t have house bunnies, I have insulated shed /garden / run bunnies ( link to pics of their shed here https://binkybunny.com/FORUM/tabid/54/aft/124173/Default.aspx ) so I couldn’t really move him anywhere else as he lives in either part of the shed ( the top part blocked off with a secure piece of wood drilled with holes so they can sniff each other, or the bottom part ) Unless I put him in their bonding cage.
