        Hey guys,

I just bought some organic field greens from President’s Choice (all you Canadians will know this )

It contains a few things that I didn’t realize before I bought. It says it has a blend of baby lettuce, baby greens, and chicories. But in the main ingredients it lists: red and green romaine, green oak, tango, mizuna, arugula, and beet tops, radicchio, and frisee.
I tried to google it but a lot of these aren’t listed. It’s just one of those usual plastic packaged greens mix you would buy – I just didn’t realize they had so many weird things in it.

        Do you think it’s okay?

        Thanks!!

I have seen all of those on the safe and approved list.

I have heard of all those greens and lettuces, and I think that they would be okay for rabbits. There are some different chicories, but the one I’m familiar with is the Italian dandelion, which I have grown for my bunnies.

Those are fine they are just more exotic types of lettuces which aren’t usually listed on any rabbit safe veggie list – those lists are just guidelines and don’t usually list every type of lettuce out there just some of the more easy/basic type lettuces.

I buy those salads all the time for myself and was wondering too. I usually just pick out the Romaine and give it to the buns. Wasn’t sure about oak leaf.

I have been feeding it to my bun for 2 days now, and everything seems to be okay I think he actually prefers it because of the wide variety!
