I recently went to a local discount pet supplies store to buy some litter for my bunnies. I usually get carefresh natural but I though I would look to see what else they had.

I ended up picking up some horse stall pelleted bedding. It is a 100% wood but it is made of pine. I know pine and ceder shavings can be harmful to your bunnies respiratory system but I thought that wood pellets wood be fine. Am I correct?

The horse stall pellets are fine to use. The compressed wood pellets do not have the dangerous aromatic oils that that the pine and cedar shavings have.

Yes, pellets are kiln-dried and the oils are not a factor like they are in shavings.
