It’s about time for my rabbit to get “fixed” but I’m having a hard time finding the right doctor. Any advice would be awesome!

Are the low cost spaying/neutering clinics reliable? Should I just take my rabbit to my vet and pay the $400 cost? (I got an estimate saying it could be anywhere from 350-450).

Do you know any low cost clinics in the Los Angeles or Santa Barbara/Goleta area??

        Thank you!

Also, what are some questions I should ask the doctor to test if he is qualified to operate on rabbits? I know that if the doctor says to fast my bunny before surgery, I need to just walk away haha.

This page has some questions you can ask if you’re uncertain of their experience.

Here is a Santa Barbara rescues listing of Rabbit vets also. There are a couple in Goleta.
