        Hi everyone.

I have two rabbits and I want to possibly order either a maze haven or a cottontail cottage. I can’t decide though because I have not had experience with either. I like how the cottontail cottage looks like it doesn’t take up as much space but I want to make sure my bunnies will use it.

Whoever has bought both, can you please tell me which one your bunnies enjoy more!

I’ve only had the Maze. I love that the insides can be configured different ways, and it can be made either single or double-story. Not sure on the size of the Cottage, but the Maze can comfortably fit buns about 8-9 pounds and smaller.

I’ve only had the Cottontail Cottage, but my guys love it so much!! What I like about it is that they can hang out on the top level (safely) because of the lip around the edge. They spent a lot of their time up there. They are both 3lbs and can both fit comfortably in it, but it would probably get squishy with the big buns

I like both, but the maze haven has lasted me the longest.

I would look at your buns needs and likes. Do your buns like being challenged an have things switched up while having the chance to tunnel? Or are your buns on the mellow side that love to just lounge? The Maze Haven is great for play time and exercising the bunny brain that can double as some place to sleep unnoticed. While the Cottage is more for sleeping and lounging undisturbed. But this is what I have seen in my own observations of the two products. So it really depends on your bun’s likes/needs.

I have the Cottage. My buns love it. It’s about time it gets replaced but it’s lasted me about 3 years. My heaviest bunny is 5lbs and it’s held up well. My cat, who is a small cat, likes to sit on it too so the top floor is a bit sagging. I want to try the Maze, I know my buns would love it.

My heaviest bun is about 6 pounds. Do you think it will hold up for him too?

I’m pretty sure the Maze Haven will hold up. It’s made with really sturdy cardboard. My “mother-in-law’s” hefty cat used to love to sleep in the Mini Haven I had when I lived with them. And the cat’s about 12lbs, and it’s still in good shape.
