        Hi!
Mocha has been sneezing a lot lately, sometimes just once, and others more than 5 times.  He went to a rabbit-savvy vet in mid-November, and he was sneezing a little back then as well. The vet checked his breathing and said it sounded perfectly fine, and that he most likely has allergies. I was using Carefresh back then, and the vet told me to change it to a wood-pellet litter as Carefresh is a bit dusty. After I changed his litter, he stopped sneezing for a while. It has been four months since then and now he is sneezing 5-10 times in a row, and I am now really worried. He usually isn’t near his hay or pellets when he sneezes. But, he does like to dig his face in his hay to get the good pieces.  Is that most likely the cause? Or do you think that he has a URI?   I would also like to add that he is shedding like crazy now. Plus, I checked his nose. It is a little tiny bit damp, and it doesn’t have any weird color; just clear. There is no crustiness. His eyes are clear although he has eye boogers BUT it is not wet. His hind legs are not wet.
        Thank you.

It could be the hay. dustbunny sneezes more than his brother if there’s a lot of hay dust!!

I have had this problem with my new little one, Simber! My vet told me to only worry if it seems like it’s becoming more frequent or discharge (like white) starts coming from his nose when he sneezes. She told me some bunnies are just prone to sneezing and the littlest thing can set them off. I would call and ask to speak to your vet about it (without an appt) to see what she thinks. If she’s worried, then bring him in.
