It happened so fast and I don’t know how to deal with this. I think she died of uterine cancer. I just can’t believe she’s not with me anymore. How do I deal with this loss? I had to watch her take her last breaths as I sobbed and I can’t get that out of my head.

          I’m really so sorry. : (
There is no right way to deal with loss. Only time helps make a bit easier to deal with. So it’s no wonder you are feeling such grief right now. Sending {{{vibes}}} out to you.

I think you just have to let all the sadness happen. Cry, get angry, talk with people and talk about her if that helps. The beauty of active online forums is at almost anytime there is someone there to communicate with.

I’m sorry I didn’t see your post until today. I hope you are feeling a little bit better, but the grief really does hurt for a while. It’s a shock when it’s fast. Try to remember that you loved her very much which made her happy. You gave her a good home and care and bunnies are very loving back because they know when we care.

A bunny passes for many reasons, they hide illness and it can seem sudden because they try not to let us know they don’t feel well. So it’s unexpected and we often feel guilty for not spotting it sooner. But we can’t. Just miss her and know she is not suffering in any way now.

I’m so very sorry for your loss. I also didn’t see your post till today or I would have responded sooner.

It is devastating to lose a bunny friend. A lot of us here at BB, know how you feel and the terrible heartache. There is no easy way to deal with grief. You just have to let it take it’s course.

Take comfort in the fact that she was able to pass away with you by her side. I’m sure she knew she was loved.
