I have these Oxbow Digestive Support tabs that I have been giving Sally once a day the past week or so. I just give it to her everyday when I am sweeping and cleaning around her cage to keep her preoccupied because she LOVES them and sometimes stresses when im sweeping too close to her enclosure. and I enjoy giving her a little treat since she hasn’t really taken to veggies yet. She doesn’t have any digestive issues so I hope I’m not doing something bad?  Anyone know about these? Because she goes crazy over them every time I give one to her she runs away with it to her litterbox and eats it there. She doesn’t want anyone taking it from her lol. Once she actually growled at me when I got to close to her head, grabbing her bowl, while she was eating it!

Do you think it’s ok to continue them? I only give her 1 tab and its nice finding something she actually likes lol

I think it’s okay in this case – the thing about “supplements” for animal’s it’s not at all regulated and this particular supplement is from a company you feel you can trust that just does items for small animals and I think it’s probably a better treat than most items out there. I guess as far as supplements, it probably doesn’t really mean too much but it’s a nice treat from a trusted company that is probably just as important.

I give my little girl the digestive supplements. Mainly because her stomach is really sensitive to sugars. So I use it as a treat. I don’t really see the harm in it. Oxbow is a trusted company that has good products. I wouldn’t increase from one button though.

My bunnies love all the Oxbow supplement cookies. As long as you don’t give more than the recommended dosage, I’m sure it’s fine as a treat.
