Hey i have 2 bunnies that ive owned for 3 years now and my lions head mane was pretty long and was in his i eys so i trimmed it abit… Was that a bad thing to do? I groom them reguarly but i just wanted to make him more comftorable because he always flipped his hair like justin bieber when it was in his eyes

Sounds like a great thing to do if it was in his eyes. I know they have to do the same thing for other long haired pets that have hair in their eyes so why not for bunnies too. By keeping the hair trimmed about his eyes you may spare him an eye infection later on..

I think that would be fine as well.

For sure, I regularly shave (not down to the skin or anything-just shorter) my lionhead, and in between shaving I trim her face hair as it’s hard for her to see with all that fluff!

I bought clippers at Walmart. They are made for dogs. It’s like a little hand held battery-operated one made by Walh. Got it for $10.00. Great size for bunnies.
