He does, however, run around and poo while he’s excited. It’s like he loses control of his bum while he’s running.

He’s super affectionate and hyperactive. Oh and he’s a bit older than one year, he was born around November or December 2011.

Should I be worried about his lack of dominance and such??

Some buns don’t spray often and some do. The trail of poo does have to do with marking his territory though.

Be happy he doesn’t spray! I would hate to have one who did.

In my experience, the majority of bunnies don’t spray. While working for a rescue, the only bun I ever saw spray was an unfixed male who just came in and was suddenly surrounded by tons of other bunnies (in cages) and his territorial nature made him spray like crazy. After he was neutered it went away. Generally unfixed bunnies who live alone don’t spray because there’s not much need to without other bunnies there.

Yes, Wooly sprayed when he was a baby. Actually, he still does every once in awhile (and he’s neutered). So if yours doesn’t, I would be relieved.

I remember a little before Powder was neutered he sprayed for his first time ever. I had removed his litter box from its area to clean it and he came in and saw it missing. Boy was he annoyed. He ran over to the spot and sprayed the wall, I tried to shoo him away and he ended up spraying me too. I have since learned to only clean the litter boxes when they are not around. lol

Be happy he doesn’t spray, not all males do. It’s kind of like dogs, not all of them spray either.

Yes Louie (my rabbit) tends to do that too. Once he did it all over my school jumper so I had to wear a non school uniform one until we could get the pee out!

I was trying to prevent him from ripping up his litter box – not a good idea as both my mum and I learnt on separate scenarios!
