While its not natural to the rabbits stomach flora, it doesn’t hurt to give the powder form. It’s sometimes a recommended probiotic when a rabbit has had gut problems or after antibiotics.
I think I read it possibly helps restore the gut PH so the other beneficial bacteria can proliferate. But ah…don’t quote me on that. :p

Some extra reading on post neuter care if you haven’t read this already.

No doubt! They do pretty well with it though.

As long as they eat before surgery and within a day after, their tums should remain healthy.

Good luck to the boy buns!

You can do it! I just did Harley and was a nervous wreck but he’s back to his normal self I would just stick to their normal diet unless necessary. I’m sure they will do just fine

Sending {{{Vibes}}} for the surgery! I really wouldn’t bother adding anything but some rest and some pain meds post-surgery

THANKS EVERYONE!!! I am a nervous wreck already and still have 2 weeks!!! I was like this with the cats too!!! My vet is awesome and his wife who just finished vet school is helping, so I have 2 vets doing the neuter. The vet techs always dote on my bunnies when I take them up for visits!! I am sure they’ll be fine!! I already have their food, bottles, hay, snacks, little houses, baby blankets and beds already packed and ready!! I always take up cookies, fruit trays, and snacks for the dr.;s and staff to make sure they pay extra attention to my little ones!!
