So Enzo is a little trouble maker.he has his own room that has a human bed and cabinet in it, along with all his bunny stuff of course. Under the cabinet, there is enough space for him to fit. The sides are blocked off so he won’t get under from the opening behind it. The position that the cabinet is in against this weird wall allows space halfway down the back of the cabinet. This is blocked also with this long rectangular box. He somehow found a way to get back there! I don’t know how. He can’t get out. So when I go get him in the morning I can’t find him. Then I move the rectangular box and find him there! He gets excited because who knows how long he was back there! He runs around then Comes to me for some pets.

I see a little something right under his nose and think its a small piece of hay stuck in there or something so I gently pull it. I then realize it is not hay. He twit he’d back. It looks like a little scab that was peeling. I assumed he possibly was trying to chew or squeeze his way out of the back of the cabinet and perhaps scratched himself. I have been observing it All day. He lets me touch it so it doesn’t seem like he is in pain. However, I am still freaked out and keep looking at it! I will add a picture in the next post.
I then noticed that it looks like his upper lift is completely split! I don’t remember it being like this. I did some research and some people are saying that all of their lips are like that for wiggling around grasses and things..

Exactly how split should they be? Is there something I can put on the scrape? He seems in a relatively good mood today and has no problem eating or letting me split it!

I’m pretty sure bunny leeps are naturally divided all the way to the base of the nose. It does look like it’s swollen though.

I usually check his teeth from time to time, and I would lift his lips to do that. Now it is like I can just separate them to see. Perhaps it is just me freaking out that I feel I didn’t notice this before?

Little rascals! My first rabbit used to go behind the stove and the fridge when she was still small.

You could try a little bit of Neosporin ointment on it but being where it is, I don’t expect it would stay on long. If using Neosporin, do not to use any that contains pain medicine. You’ll want the antibiotic type only.

I’d check behind the cabinet to see what he maybe has caught the lip on.

I can’t see the picture. But I would be worried if your bunny didn’t have two sides to his upper lip.

So wouldn’t it be a bad thing if he invests the meow potion since I would be putting it on the lip? Should I wait a day or two? I guess I just want to avoid infection. I also am afraid of putting something on him that he can lick off and die from! Ahh!!
