Hello, everyone! I’m new to the forums and I’m looking for advice.

Sorry if this has been asked before, but I bought this Timothy Hay & Herbs Edible Tunnel and I was wondering whether wheat flour gum is ok for bunny consumption.

        Here are the ingredients:
Timothy Hay, Alfalfa Hay, (the hays are stuffed in the tunnel) Parsley, Wheat flour gum

The tube itself is made out of paper fibers.

        Other info:
        Crude protein (min.) 17%
        Crude Fat (min.) 1.0%
        Crude Fiber (max.) 30.0%
        Moisture (max.) 12.0%

Should I limit my bunny’s consumption of this tunnel? Like maybe let him play and gnaw on it for a few hours then take it away from him before I go to bed?

I can post pics of the product if you’re wondering how it looks like.

I am not sure if that is safe or not. You could just allow him to play with it when he is out for play time!

I gave him the tunnel and observed him, it looks like he’s not interested in eating it at all. He just likes to slip inside and scratch it so it looks like it’s ok

It’s ok, if they go bonkers and are eating a bunch (I’m saying a bunch for me would be more than the size of my thumb) then take it away; but if they are nibbling its fine. It’s like a giant chocolate room-not healthy but not toxic.
