I was petting my rabbit when I noticed a hard lump on the top of his back, towards his neck/shoulder.
I pulled apart the fur to find a small black scab, has anyone any idea what it could be?
It looks very painful but he does not seem bothered by it at all, does not seem in pain and I’ve not seen him itching it.

I have attached a photo, any help would be much appreciated

It’s impossible to know by just looking at a photo. When in doubt, it is best to have a vet take a look at it and diagnose it.

Just letting everyone know that I took bunny to the vet today, and everything’s okay!
The vet said it’s probably just a reaction from his vaccinations that were given a couple of weeks ago.

It was an expensive trip just to be in for 5 minutes but It’s better to be safe than sorry.

Glad he is okay – didn’t realize you lived in a place where you have to vaccinate but I’ve heard that many times they can have a reaction.
