        Hi again!

I’m starting to feel like a totally overprotective mummy over my baby bun, I’ve noticed today only that my ten week old minilop is squeaking when he drinks from his water bowl. He doesn’t do it at any other time and has been fine with his bowl since Sunday. He’s eating fine but have noticed his poops are a lot smaller and darker, almost black.

        Any ideas?

Describe this squeaking? Is it actually a squeak sound or is it a higher pitched grunting? Some rabbits just have a higher pitched voice and some rabbits are just noisy when they are eating.

It sounds like the same noise a guinea pig makes. It’s only when he’s drinking and he will do it approximately three times then jump away from his bowl

I think what you’ve got there are bunny burps. Nibs does the same thing when he’s drinking: laplaplaplap squeak! laplaplap squeak! Makes me laugh every time.

Aw really? That’s really cute, I didn’t know they did that!
