Anytime i take him out to hold him or pet him, Doc will dig and tug on my clothing. He’ll scratch at it and dig at it and nibble at my clothing while tugging at it while nibbling at it. I don’t understand why he’s doing this. He’s got plenty of things to nibble on in his cage and he gets plenty of play time out of his cage as well. It’s almost as if he’s trying to nest on me and anything that is around me. I just don’t understand why he digs and nibbles on me and doesn’t do it in his cage.

It’s just a rabbit thing to do.

How old is your bunny? I find younger buns tend to do this more.

This is just something that bunnies do – some more than others. If you want to discourage it, you can make a yelping noise, or just make him get off of your lap when he does it and he’ll eventually learn you don’t like it.
