Such little cuties……. I think they call the colouring “Broken Black” but I’d have no idea of the breed or mix.

oh yeah?? Well I asked because i was very curious as to what you guys thought..i was told she is a netherland dwarf..but i have a feeling that this may not necessarily be true..
Whenever i google netherland dwarfs or compare my bun to others that are netherland dwarfs..i don’t really see a resemblance..

yeah, definitely not nethie I say part dutch, because of where the color changes on your bun with the black on her face. It’s very dutch-like. And they have a similar body type to my dutch boy, Moose.

Looks like dutch mix. I suppose there could be some netherland in there, along with some other stuff. They don’t appear to have a dwarf gene being expressed though.

hmm i googled dutch rabbits..i guess they kinda look similar but the face and ears don’t
what do you think she could possibly be mixed with?

Really? I thought their ears and face shape was pretty consistent with Dutches. If you look up Netherlands, you can see the dwarf characteristics. Their heads are round, faces smooshed, and ears tiny.

What a cutie! I’m gonna agree with part Dutch..from one side you definitely almost see a Dutch pattern, and his head and body shape definitely looks like one as well.

Dutch mix for sure-maybe harlenquin? The striping on the back is very neat.
                            What an adorable bunny!

Agree with K&K – I see Dutch and Harlequin, but you can never know for sure. She is amazingly beautiful! Both your buns are!

Wow, what interesting and pretty looking buns!

I agree with the dutch, based on pattern and general head/body/ear shape. Dutch come in harlequin coloring too, I believe, so that could be the source of that. Harlequin is a breed and a color, but I don’t personally see the breed itself in them – they seem to small and light boned.
