I used to hate hate hate humidifiers because it literally always made the room hot and steamy like 10 minutes after someone took a really hot shower! But I used to use a warm/ hot vapor humidifier, I am considering getting a cool mist humidifier, hopefully it won’t make my room HOT, that is what I hate and why I stopped using it in the first place.

Anyway, I was just wondering if humidifiers are bad for rabbit? Because my hair is so dry and staticy, my skin is fine but it’s just my hair. The problem is is that my room is VERY small. I mean we’re talking about, maybe a 9’x10′ rectangular room I surprisingly can fit 2 large cages and a bed and a table in my room with like a really small empty middle area in the middle of my room. I might get a loft bed, but I am leaving this place in a couple years so it seems pointless. So back to my main question LOL, since my room is so small I really don’t want it to like turn my room into a rainforest? Is humidity bad for rabbits? Am I better off drinking lots of water and conditioning my hair more than usual?

I don’t think a humidifier will be harmful to your bunny, as long as you’re just using water in it and not adding anything else. Though it certainly won’t hurt to drink more water and condition your hair

.Do be sure that the cables are hidden away though, so your bunny can’t chomp on them!

I have a humidifier and it has given me no issues! Miss Chacha has possible allergies so I keep it on for a few hours each day.

A plain water humidifier is fine if not directed onto the bunny. Any fan, humidifier, air conditioner or heater should not be blowing directly into a bunny’s habitat. Just above it, to circulate air, is usually not a problem. A bunny is sensitive to heat, but a cool mist humidifier takes care of that, so I wouldn’t worry.
