So I rescused this little guy from the “wild”  He either escaped or was released.  He is now mine.  He is an escape artist and is ALWAYS trying to get out.  He is actually quite good at it.  I try to find toys. He isn’t interested in anything that isn’t food.  He licks his pet bed or himself all day. That or we just wants me to give him a massage. Those 3 are his only interest.  HELP!  I tried some baby keys and a rolling ball.  He recently started pulling the towels I have around the xpen inside. I’m worried the towel or paper will make him sick.   I think I have almost broken the wild out of him, but he is a real handful!  Any suggestions/help?

Try the store on this site. It has some fabulous toys. Keys and balls are ‘tossing’ toys but not all bunnies toss. It’s fine for your bunny to play with a towel (some like to dig and chew towels) while supervised so he doesn’t eat any of it. The maze haven sold on this site is for bunnies who like to hide, climb, chew and jump. Never found a bunny who ignores it. Also the are other edible tunnels and toys made if willow and Timothy. It sound like your bunny likes chewing so these types of toys may be appreciated

I find cardboard boxes are great for noisy/bad bunnies (I have one of those!). I take a cardboard box (plain brown with not much ink writing on it) and cut out a small door and window. Bunnies love reconstructing this “burrow”. My buns love their boxes and use them for sleeping, hiding and busy-work.

You can also make a treat bag with a brown paper bag and fill it with hay and small treats (bunny safe flowers, apple twigs, a couple of craisins, etc) and twist the top. I like to poke little holes in it so the bunny can smell that there are treats inside.
