  found the model we are gong to use for Hippys new home. just waiting for Hippy to be healed and Christmas to be over (unless its his other present, already ordered a mat and toys from BB and got some toys at the petsmart near us)
  
  Its a common model from looking at the photos on here. we’re just going to modify it a bit with coroplast for the bottom level and MAYBE the 2nd. those who do have it (tanslover i think you have this model too right?) what do you use for closing the doors and lid? I kinda like the way this one opens with the 3 separate doors but not sure as the toddlers and probably the cat would pester him too much. the kids and pets are great with him normally but..lol you never know! Id love ideas and pics of your models. 🙂 the happier the bunny the happier the mummy

  Great model! I’ve used everything from chip bag clips to binder clips to carabiners – my bunnies can be surprisingly strong/insistent so only the most annoyingly complicated contraptions worked to keep them from breaking out. Hopefully Hip is better behaved!

  I use those mountain climber clips (sorry, don’t know the actual name for them). You can get them at dollar stores in different sizes. Wouldn’t be great for very tiny bunnies because they could probably slip out because they leave a little gap. Works great for my buns.

  ^ I actually use exactly what LittlePuffyTail has the photo of to keep our doors latched. We actually got smaller clips (at Walmart I think?) but they DO definitely come in a smaller size to which works better for them not being able to slip through! They are called Carabiners!
  
  I actually don’t have this — ours is built out of NIC cubes completely! But the shape isn’t too different. The carabiners will definitely work with yours too!
