Mocha and Lulu have been bonded for about 2 years now. We just moved into our brand new house and Mocha (the dominant bunny of the pair) will not leave Lulu alone! He seems to be humping her constantly! She seems to be getting stressed out over it. He wont let her go into the litter box, unless she sneaks in their without him knowing. I have two side by side and if she hops in one he humps her until she jumps into the other one. Then he goes into the other one and humps her until she hops back into the other one! This repeats until she finally leaves. It is causing her to pee on the floor outside of the box (which isn’t fun)! She can’t lay down and sleep for more then 5 minutes without him running over and humping her. I am kind of worried about her! I know it is a normal sign for showing dominance in the new house but do you guys know of anything to tune the humping down a little bit?

Lulu must be pretty fed up with Mocha because she just went up to him and started biting him and then humped him! I have only seen her hump him a few times since they have been bonded!

How long has it been? Perhaps they just need more time to get things figured out again.

Aww, poor Lulu! My guess is that Mocha feels the need to re-establish dominance since they are in a new environment now.

Today is the official moving day and everything got moved out of the storage unit. Also one of the workers had to use an air compressor in my room so Mocha is pretty stressed and I haven’t seen him hump her at all! Lulu seems to be handling the noise better though.
