Candi is a very picky bunny and doesnt like very many toys. What toys do your bunnies like? What would you recommend? Also, are you decorating your bunnies cage for the holidays? Thanks!!! (:

My bunny currently likes a cardboard box filled with shredded paper. I cut holes on both ends of it and then covered the top in brown butcher paper. It’s not very pretty, but he likes to hang out in there in the morning. He digs at the butcher paper sitting on top of the shredded paper or tears at the sides of the cardboard box. Sometimes, he’ll go to one of the two entrances and pull out shredded paper.

All bunnies have different personalities and their toys can be chosen based on that. Some rabbits like digging (hence the shredded paper filled box), others like throwing (balls, bottle caps, rattles), and chewers (willow rings, teethers).

Mine is still a baby so I don’t know if he knows what he likes yet. This morning he played in succession with his dig box, a cardboard paper tube, and his rattle.

Experimenting is probably your best option.

HotGinRun summed it up perfectly. Once you observe how your bunny tends to play you can select whether you get tunnels, diggy boxes, toss toys, or climbing toys. I highly recommend the binkybunny.com store, mostly because they are tested and loved by bunnies! Today BB is honoring cyber-Monday, so it’s a good time to check out the store.
