I just wanted to show off Harry's lovely new wife, Jessica. The bonding has been an absolute dream, especially considering Harry isn't fixed yet (due to be in the next 2 weeks). Jessica came from a rescue who was really pushed for space which is why we rushed it, but luckily it has gone really smoothly.

Constantly loved up now. As you can see Jessica likes to trash the hutch :p

Jessica grooms Harry a lot but so far I haven't seen him groom her. Not sure what that means for their relationship but I hope he will start reciprocating soon. They follow each other around and lie down together and eat together too. They seem very happy and I am happy for them, fingers crossed it lasts!

Congrats! They look happy. I was told sometimes the other bun never reciprocates but if that's okay with Jessica, than you should be okay. Sounds like Harry is top bun

I can't tell with my two. I also have smaller male/larger female duo and they're bonded but they groom back and forth. Bunjamin's even stopped humping!

What a sweet couple! So glad they are getting along.

Still no hitches. They snuggle together during both sleeping times and are usually together when awake, although they do separate things too.

One thing I've noticed is that Jessica doesn't have control over her right ear. You can see in the pisc that it's always flopped down, and even when the other one is up or back the right one never changes position. Is that a normal bunny thing?

Congratulations! Nothing like an instant bond. They just look so lovely together.

Can you ask the rescue if Jessicas ear has always been like this? I suppose it could be because they are so large. I do have a rabbit that will drop one ear a bit when stressed.
If the rescue says its a new thing then it might be worth a vet check.
