This is my new 6 week old male rabbit. The woman at the indie pet store I go to said he’s from a “family home” and probably a cross but other than that I don’t know the type, colour or breed/s of rabbit he is. Can anyone tell me?

He has light brown fur that’s grey underneath. His paw tips, tail and belly are off-white/light grey. His eyes are light brown. To me he looks like a wild rabbit.

He’s adorable, he’s most likely a mix like the pet store said and it’s difficult to truly now especially at this age what that mix might be (if ever). His hard to tell his coloring, it’s quite unusual and lovely.

He’s beautiful… Colours don’t look right for a wild bun though. I’d say he is of the OOPS variety from the sounds of his origins. His colours could change a bit as he grows.

This is the sort of wild bunny I mean – I’m from England. His coat is exactly like this, the photo I posted makes him look different.

His ears resemble a flemish giant or one of the big breeds.

That coloring is called “agouti” which does mean wild and it is also found in domestic rabbits. It’s a beautiful coloring.
