I love these threads My name is Crystal, Im 22, vegetarian, live in Northern BC and have all my life. Currently I'm working 2 jobs, I've been working at a veterinary hospital for a few years now, as a receptionist/ward attendent/vet assitant/pharmacist, whatever you want to call it, I get bumped around. They are great to me and give me lots of hands on experience because I will eventually be going to school to become a Registered Animal Health Technologist... if I ever get my butt in gear and finish the last pre-req I also work in human resources at my local health authority. For those who don't know, all our hospitals, clinics, public health programs, etc. are run and managed by a "health authority" that are layed out by regions. Between the 2 jobs Im doing 50+ hours a week, but I can't bring myself to quit either job I went to university for a year and half after high school, but I realized that while I liked my classes, it just wasn't in a field that I wanted to pursue. I started working fulltime and saving like crazy and ended up spending a summer volunteering at a sea turtle conservation camp and a crocodile sanctuary in Mexico. It was the best thing I've ever done and that's when I realized that I would only be happy dedicating my life to animals. I have my 2 rabbits and a cat. I still consider myself to have 2 dogs even though they live with my mom. 1 was hers and 1 was mine, but when I moved out I couldn't bear to split them up because they had been living together so long They still come over for doggy daycare now and then when my mom is teaching a late class and I'll come take them for walks if my friends are taking their dogs, so I do get to see them quite a bit still. I rode horses for most of my teens, but never got more competitive than the occaisional gymkhana. In my spare time Im either with my animals, or I volunteer at my local horse rescue I also foster for the SPCA quite a bit, but I've taken a step back because of my crazy work schedule. I'm a pretty big introvert, so Im a big homebody. I love to read, me and my roommate are so bad, that we actually have a room in our house that we call the "library" because of our immense collection... I don't have a preferred genre, I'll pretty much read anything. I like to bake, and make vegetarian dishes that anti-tofu people actually like My favourite thing ever is Christmas and I'm already SO excited! My roommate is making me wait until after Rememberance Day to decorate though ... which is fair enough I guess haha |

Very neat post! Great getting to know everyone
My name is Christiana, turning 22 on the 7th, and I'm from Texas. I get told all the time I look 15 O_o I currently have 8 pets in my house, 4 dogs; Kaycee, Bruce, Maddie, & Joey (Joey is just a foster though).
A cat, bird, turtle & 1 bunny. (in order; Ripley, Kramer, Rivan, & Mimzy)
Looking young can throw off people, but it will be worth it as we age
People often mistake me as a high school still, and I get carded all the time for alcohol.
I think it's my Asian genes

Haha tell me about it. At least my male classmates can grow facial hair, but it's kind of awkward going around the hospital looking 18 lol. |

Haha "I think it's the Asian genes", good, I'm all set!!! Although I think the bunnies have a lot to do with it, all of you are seriously the nicest people I've ever seen all in one place - I've come to the conclusion that bunny people are happy people. They likely keep us young too! |

Hey all,
I have a problem with writing REALLY long posts on BB, so don't mind the story book I'm most likely about to post!
I'm 24 (just turned - UGH!) and currently from Pittsburgh, PA. I'm originally from Western NY but moved here a year and a half ago to be with my boyfriend... of three weeks, HA! I know, talk about quick moving relationship. We've currently been dating for 1 year and 4 months! Before moving to PA, I was insanely obsessed with politics. Did a lot of work across the State of NY on campaigns and such and which is how I met my current boyfriend. At the time, I was studying Finance at a school in NY but after moving to Pittsburgh so abruptly I'll be hopefully re-starting school here in Pittsburgh this upcoming semester. Which I'm now going for Accounting since Pittsburgh doesn't have any Finance degrees, only Business degrees specializing in Finance (not what I'm looking for). I've put political work aside as has my boyfriend. But I'm still very much interested. But can't wait to hopefully start a life-long career in Accounting!
I've always been an animal lover and did a lot with horses back in NY. I originally had planned on having a career in training horses also and I used to show in jumping and hunter. A little barrel racing but not very much. Then politics happened. And now Pittsburgh happened! My boyfriend and I decided in March to get a bunny! Since we're not allowed animals in our condo (even though it's bought! go figure). Which is how we ended up with our first baby boy, Fleury. He's a Tan and we bought him from a breeder after she told us Tans are usually not for first-time bunny owners since they are crazy hyper... and well, crazy in general. He was 2 months old when we brought him home! A month later, we couldn't resist and went back for a 2nd litter mate, Sidney! She's a gorgeous black Tan also! And then... another month passed. And we ended up with Tanger! A chocolate Tan with a big attitude! We love our little buns to death (as I've become addicted to BB over the past few months which thankfully gives me a place to talk about my obsession with bunnies!) and they will all turn 9 months on the 15th of November.. *sigh* We are currently drooling over the last and fourth litter mate, Imbe. He's a lilac Tan whom the breeder decided to keep. We are still stalking him on her website and decided if she ever sells him we will take him and pay more than she's usually selling her Tans for.
As for hobbies, since I'm not around horses it's pretty much bunnies! I also love to read and scrapbook but really hope to get back into horses in the near future. My favorite shows right now are the Real Housewives, I know I know... and Game of Thrones (read all the books), Boardwalk Empire, Walking Dead, Dexter, True Blood (in the process of reading all the books!), and Law and Order: SVU!
Also, my name is Sandra! |

My name is Jessy, and I will not remember any of your names unless they're in your signature (Sorry ) I'm 23 and I live in Orlando, Fl, with my boyfriend, our 4 cats, hedgehog, rabbit, snail, and turtle. I love being surrounded by my pets. I'm a student studying Environmental Science at University of Central Florida and I want to be a park ranger when I'm done. I have some experience in the field, hundreds of volunteer hours, and two weeks from now I will be a coastal naturalist so I'm excited to be done with school and move on to my passion! I play roller derby as a hobby and I love it. Definitely the best thing I've done with my life. I started skating when I moved to Florida and met all of my friends and boyfriend through roller derby. I would not be where I am or who I am without this sport. It's crazy obbsessive. uhm... I was a sea turtle volunteer for 4 years which consisted of locating and relocating nests if needed, inventorying nests after they hatched and releasing any babies stuck in the bottom of the nests. I worked as an assistant interpretive park ranger the summer after high school and I loved it. When I moved to florida I volunteered at a marine science center for a summer as a camp counselor and got hired on for the next two summers as a counselor and educator. I would love to become a falconer even though I don't really like birds. Raptors are neat. I'm going to go get some ice cream now, so here are some pictures This is my favorite picture of me skating I'll post pictures of my pets later |

Hello all I'm Lesley, almost 29 years old this month, live in the Portland area of Oregon. Originally from Vancouver BC though. I currently have 4 rabbits that own me, and a fuzzy man creature thing I call my hubby. I volunteer with a local rabbit group here in Oregon, the local humane society, and I also volunteer with a group that does rabbit transports.. the Bunderground Railroad It's tons of fun, and I get to see all sorts of cute little (and big!) rabbits all the time. Wouldn't have it any other way.
I read a lot, play a bunch of video games, and make jewelry. Recently started working for a local bead store, where I am teaching classes on weekends. Also tons of fun! |

Hello I'm 20. I have two rabbits, Essie and Marge. I am the youngest of five children and the only girl. I'm currently doing college work to earn a degree in Religion, after which I hope to become a missionary. (Yes, I know what it pays.) I am a middle school girl youth leader. And my favorite hobbies are crocheting, anything craft, reading, watching LOTR and Sherwood movies, and piano. |

lmais -- I was COMPLETELY TEAM Bill... but THEN I read the books and because of this last season, I'm more Team Eric... I think! Hahahah, I was soooo sure I was Team Bill when I first started watching it but then the books made me mehhhhh Bill and then this last TV season made him absolutely insane and all of a sudden Eric is the good one! So hmmm.. For now I'm Team Eric. I've only read up to the 8th book though - so once I read 9 there's a good chance I'll be back to Bill. |

Hi all, my name is Jodie and I live in the UK. I am 24 and live with my fiance and 2 beautiful buns, Rexy and our newly aquired Toffee. I am an accountant at an international clothing company and in my spare time.. (who has spare time with buns around?!) I enjoy horse riding, reading, watching TV (we love the walking dead series and game of thrones, also anything cooking related) and spending time with the special people in my life. We are planning on buying a house in the next few years and I am keeping my fingers crossed that the buns will be able to go 'free range' and have their own room. :-) |

I so want to make a bunny room but I won't be getting my own place for a long time yet. tanlover and malp - same here!! I wanted suki to forgive Bill when she first found out he had lied to her but then I switched to team Eric I think once he lost his memory. He was so cute and confused haha, and now he's all nice. Plus, the authority?? WTF Bill!! I haven't read any of the books, just watching the show. I have a feeling one would ruin the other for me - that's usually how it goes. Yet another reason for me to prefer summer over winter haha! |

The books are actually pretty darn different from the show -- I'm not sure I would even ever dare compare the two! And I totally know what you mean... The cute and confused thing is even better in the book! And I know, I hate Bill and the authority now! UGH. I hate it. And I know what you mean about books ruining shows, hahah. The Game of Thrones did that to me although the show actually does quite a good job at keeping up with the book but eliminates too much awesome stuff! |

Haha, did you ever read or see "The Lovely Bones"? It's really different from TB but anyways haha... I read the book and absolutely ADORED it, I literally didn't put it down until I was done (such a productive day off, this was of course before I had Ruby lol). One of my friends convinced me to go see the movie and I was getting so upset at the changes they were making - and of course the casting was just all wrong. I also saw the Harry Potter movies before I started reading them, and never could get into the books as much as I liked the movies. Now I just stick to one or the other haha - and that friend never tries to convince me into seeing a movie again after I chewed her ear off about all the things that they got wrong! |

Tanlover, not sure if it's near you, but if you're looking for a place to ride hunter/jumper in Pittsburgh I would highly recommend Bargee Farm. I grew up riding there for 10 years and it's a beautiful facility. The lesson horses are generally high quality (some retired from the professional circuit), and they let a few of the more experienced lesson people ride some of the show horses. |

Well I'm going to go ahead if it is allowed I'm probably the youngest here, as I'm still in high school. Despite that I've done a lot of research on rabbits, volunteer at a shelter, and have talked to many pet stores via email about their products. I like to write and am interested in women's studies, phycology, and animal rights. Sorry for the short post! |

Why did I never see this post? Haha, I love this!
My name is Jordan. I am 22 years old and I live with my boyfriend of 2 years. I live in a small town in Massachusetts. I grew up in Rhode Island but moved here to be with the Boyfriend. I do not miss RI at all even though it is only one state away. We only have our three bunnies. We live in an apartment the size of an armpit attached to his parents house (unfortunately!). Which is why Sophie and Gretel are free range. There isn't really much for them to get into and they can't go very far. I work in retail and absolutely hate it. I'm hoping to start school in the fall for Business. In a perfect world, I would have my own animal rescue. But that probably will not happen, lol. I don't get to read as much as I used to but it is a favorite of mine. Hunger Games, anyone? Aside from rabbits, I am obsessed with makeup. Glamour and movie alike. I would love to be on SyFy's Face Off, but I'm not that good yet, haha. I probably have the worst taste in movies, at least in most peoples opinions. I love the Labyrinth, The Last Unicorn, Free Willy 1+2, Look Who's Talking (all of them), Happily Ever After, Beethoven, etc. I could watch them all multiple times a day. So, yeah, that's a little bit about me! Also, a side bit. My New Years resolution is to post on here more often! |

Yay, I love topics like this as well.
My name is Regina. I'm 27 years old and live in the San Francisco bay area.
I've worked in the eCommerce business and the same company ever since I graduated college, so five years plus. I've mostly been in Supply Chain/Operations, which has nothing to do with my English major. I did have a Technical Writing stint for about 11 months though.
I love to sleep and am obsessed with shoes. I like watching Amazing Race, Project Runway, and of course, real life shows about homicide and such. I just got into Pawn Stars and can't stop watching it now. I also enjoy going to fairs to ride the crazy rides and look at rabbits. My weekends have mostly been dedicated to watching Niners now that baseball season is over.
I recently bought a house and get the keys tomorrow! I can't wait to decorate and have all these ideas already but have to wait to see how broke I will be. My buns, Cheddy and Poopy (Cheddar and Pepperoni are their actual names) have been living at my boyfriend's with me for about a month now. They are just getting used to it since his place is a lot smaller than my old apartment. I'm hoping to move into my new place in a couple of months which means more adjusting for them. I can't wait to see them hop up and down flights of stairs. So cute.
Here's a picture of me a couple months ago when I hosted a baby shower for my cousin.

My names Brittany, I'm 22 and live in northeastern ohio. I'm currently a customer service supervisor at our local wally-world. I'm attending college for Radiology hoping to start the program summer of 2014. (Gotta love pre-requisites lol). I'm engaged to a wonderful man named Chris. I met chris at school back when we originally aspired to be teachers. (Now he's going for nursing).
In my spare time, which I don't get much of haha. I enjoy reading mostly murder mysteries. As far as tv goes I enjoy the big bang theory and grey's anatomy and Roseanne whenever I happen to catch it on.
I have 2 fish tanks, one freshwater and one saltwater, One white-faced cockatiel named Smokey, One dutch rabbit (Dulce) and one 3 year old black lab/chow chow mix named Echo.
This is a picture of me and Chris from our vacation last summer to Hocking Hills. (beautiful place if you live in ohio, or even if you don't it's well worth a visit)

Yay, I'm underage! My name's Aliza Took (I wish ) and like I've said, since, what, second grade, I like art, reading, writing, bunnies, and, of course, reading and writing about bunnies. I'd like to say I'm working hard on the book I plan to self publish one day (by one day I mean like 2 years), but I haven't touched the draft since mid-December. I'm in love with my awesome bun, Peanut, and throughout the break I continuously go to bb (and another site I won't mention because it's copyrighted and whatnot). As I type, my bunny is digging at the back of my shirt, on my bed, which he always hops on . It's embarrassing to say, but I occasionally (meaning daily) play a "Binky game" with Peanut, because he binkies every day. I don't have much else to say... I'm hoping to be an author or vet one day, or both. Oh, right. I LOVE Doctor Who and the science show Nova, and I am a HUGE fan of the Harry Potter books, the Lord of the Rings trilogy (hence the name Took, courtesy of Peregrin, and Aliza, my middle name), and the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy series. I'm pretty knowledgable about rabbits because I've done months of "research" (reading every rabbit info website I could find) and counting. I've already read almost every article on the house rabbit society website and Binky bunny. Well, that's that. |
