Ruby has started making the funniest face at me when she gets angry, mostly when I put her in the carrier because she knows we're going to the vet, but also when I clean her cage with her nearby. She lies all curled up (she's usually lounging all stretched out) and pulls her neck back, puffs out her cheeks and purses her little mouth. I also get the usual thumps and grunts
Does anyone else's rabbit do this with their face?
Just got back from the vet! Here's what her little grump face looks like:
She forgave me quickly enough, the vet filed down some little points in her teeth that seemed to be bothering her and clipped her nails. They gave her some Metacam for some little sores inside her mouth - kicked in as soon as we got in the car, so I was forgiven pretty quickly this time! She had her little paw on my hand all the way home, it made me squeal just a little.
The mad face is just too much it cracks me up every time.
