I live around horses so there are a fair amount of flies outside (not my horses, neighbors). Problem is now that it's getting colder, they are finding their way inside and of course crowding around the bunny litter boxes (since the house is warm). I'm cleaning them more often, but I despise having flies in the house! I have sticky fly traps up in the bunny room, but I can't place them in any other area of the house due to my bird - he would fly into them and I don't want a sticky bird trap.
Are there any other effective fly traps that don't pose a risk to a flighted parrot? Every thing in the store here is sticky paper, which is out of the question in 90% of the house. But I want them out due to both potential risk of fly strike and because they are just annoying little pests that drive me bonkers. Prefer traps because I am not as fast as flies to catch them, they always fly away before I get anywhere near them.
