Hi. I just joined this forum today and i have six dutch mix rabbits. I have thumper and oreo who are a mated pair and have four, week and half old kits. Extremely cute. But don't worry thumper is now fixed so no more surprises . I hope to make some rabbit friends on here so i can talk about my babies

Hi, Welcome here!
Would love to see some picture of these guys. : )

Im glad to read Thumper has been desexed. Was this recent? Were you instructed to keep Thumper and Oreo apart for at least 4 weeks after the operation?
Rabbits can still impregnate after desexing for a period of time. I just read in another thread this happened to a member and it was about 6 weeks after the buck was fixed.
Whoever says "It's only a rabbit" has obviously never loved a rabbit.

Hi and welcome to BB. As much as I want to see baby bun pictures as the next guy I feel I should remind you of this rule before you post any pictures.

D. Discussions of Accidental Litters, Breeding, Meat Rabbits: Discussions involving intentional breeding (of any animal) and meat rabbits are not allowed: IF your bunny is unexpectedly pregnant, then we are more than happy to help out and/or refer you to experts that can. Though we promote rescue, we are not an anti-breeder site. To find out why breeding discussions are not allowed see our FAQ section http://binkybunny.com/BUNNYINFO/FAQ...fault.aspx (scroll to question 3).

• Accidental Litter: Sometimes this happens and we will do our best to help the pregnant doe and/or babies by providing advice to the best of our knowledge. However, posting future baby photos will be prohibited unless it is in regards to a health or behavior question.

The rule is in place to not draw people to the site to just look a baby bunny pictures which might in turn, influence more breeding. So I'm not an expert on the rules so you may want to contact a forum leader BEFORE you post baby bun pictures because I know there are certain circumstances when it is allowed.

Welcome again to BB!

Welcome to BB!

You are allowed to purchase a baby rabbit at 8 weeks old at the earliest so I would say that age

! Not certain though so don't hold me to it.
