Aww LPT, I'm sorry. I remember having to pick up my kitty's ashes and it was pretty sad. Are you going to get a nice thing for them to go in or are you going to sprinkle them? tanlover - It is a certification program that you can do. Most states have it, I think. Usually they have a class you take where you learn about the plants, animals, etc native to your area. You have to pay tuition and the time it takes can vary depending on how the set the class up. Then you have to volunteer a certain number of hours each year and attend enrichment sessions in order to keep your certification up to date. |

LPT - I've seen those. I was going to get a kitty-shaped one, but never got the chance. He is still in the plastic box that he came in. Hmm, I should really get around to doing that. Does the website you're getting your bunny one from have kitty ones too? |

I thought about cremating Tofu but the cost is too high :/ I went to a Japanese restaurant and kept seeing "tofu this" and "tofu that" on the menu. Almost made me tear up at the table. |

*Hugs* LPT. It can't be easy. I still get teary eyed! So I feel like a jerk for bringing this up right now but it's like really BIG news and I can't hold it in... Bunjamin's got a date for Sunday! Actually it'll probably be multiple dates. Rescue lady is in full swing (kind of sudden) but I'm not going to turn down the opportunity. I just have a day or two to get everything ready *pulls out hair*. I'm so nervous and excited. |

I am backkkkkkkk! Well, the internet decided to stop working on Thursday and it was just the modem. I panicked for a little bit, but I tried not to panic a lot. Most of my homework (like 90%) is online, but I am a little ahead so I did not freak out too much! >__< Ugh! Have any of you tried starfruit? It is a yummy, lightly sweetened fruit It is really good and has some fiber, vitamins and minerals in it! I hope I can find more at work today! I'm so happy that I get the early and short shift at work today! Only 9 am - 1:15 pm. I'm going to shopping for Chacha's veggies afterward, along with this week's chapter work and quizzes for one of my classes! I try to pace things out so that I can relax. I was a bit tipsy on Thursday since I did not have anything to do due to the internet being down, and I requested a happy meal! My boyfriend got off his job around 7 and came over with a happy meal for me HAhahahah! I love that he takes care of me whether I am sick or tipsy. He thought it was funny how I was acting. |

I'm soooo nervous. Why am I nervous? I keep thinking of the worst that can happen. I'm afraid to think of the best that can happen today and have it not go so smoothly. Anyone got tips for the first dating experience? |

Tip One: Dont be nervous Lol. But I am kinda serious. It's better to be calm so the bunnies don't pick up on your nerves. Just go with the flow. The bunnies instincts will kick in. Goodluck! Brittany!! I just saw you and Chacha on a Danish fb rabbit page. You 2 are known around the world. |

Today the boyfriend and I are carving pumpkins! Can you believe he's 31 and has never carved a pumpkin before? It's also the first day it's been nice and breezy so we have all the windows and doors open. The cats and Finn are loving the extra time on the porch as we scooped out our pumpkins. Of course Finn had to wait until I was elbow deep in pumpkin guts to show any interest in eating the pumpkin. So I gave him a little as a treat and now he's relaxing under the chair in the corner. I carved a vampire kitty as my jack-o-lantern and the boyfriend carved a nyan cat. Can you tell we're a cat family |

I'm also roasting the seeds! Trying out a bunch of different recipes this time. Butter and salt, oil and salt, salt and vinegar, garlic and onion powder, soy sauce (that's for me, I love the stuff!), worcestershire and oil, and cinnamon sugar! Hopefully they'll turn out super tasty! |

ChaCha -- StarFruit is PURE YUMMINESS! <3 Love itttt. FF -- Don't be too nervous! But I know how you feel... every time we went to get one of my new buns, I was a bundle of nerves! Especially putting them in together before bringing them home... I think I was gonna have a heart attack! Zoologist -- those sound delicious! This is his first time carving a pumpkin?!?! Holy crap... LOL! We just got back from the Steelers football game... Great game! But now I'm ready to BB and just lay in bed with hot coffee and Crime and Punishment and just RELAX! I swear... the older you get the more you feel like you never get a chance to relax... Usually when I do have the chance, I'm so worried about other things that I have yet to do that it doesn't even feel like relaxing. Bah! |

*sigh* We brought home a potential bun on a temporary trail basis. His name is Melvin. We brought him home because him and Bunjamin were very comfortable together at the rescue, eating and grooming in front of each other. But they have this bow war of who is going to groom who and it's turned ugly since we've been home. Melvin bites Bunjamin (on the nose he's already got nose issues!) And Bunjamin sometimes bats back at him. So Melvin is going back tomorrow and tonight I'm doing referee of keeping them apart (they're in seperate pen/cages of course) but everytime we let Bunjamin out he sticks his nose in the pen, Melvin runs over. They both bow then Bunjamin get bit. So Bunjamin is out right now in den with me, locked out of his room (he has food, litter box and water) and we're giving them some space. We'll be putting blanket in between them when they are both locked up again though. I feel so bad for Bunjamin. He bowed at everybun we tried today and gave them all a chance. It's clear he wants a bun. It's just not going to be easy finding the right one. I know it's normal not to be easy but it bums me out no bunnies like Bunjamin the way I do! (yet I guess I should say) |

Oh my gosh ChaCha I love starfruit! I know it's silly. But I tried it randomly years ago because of Kingdom Hearts. I was really curious as to what it tasted like. =p Haha Zoologist! You would fit in with my family with all that soy sauce I see you're using. Literally everything we make has soy sauce in it. xD But oh my gosh I LOVE homemade roasted pumpkin seeds! There so gooodddddd. TL I don't understand how you can like football. It's just as boring to me as baseball and the rules confuse me as all get out. >.> How are you Liking Crime and Punishment? I'm horribly negligent when it comes to Russian lit. I really need to read more of it. Oh FF I'm sorry! I can understand your sadness and frustration. It can be very disheartening to see your bun want a furry friend. I see the behavior that you were saying that Bunjamin was displaying in Skipper when she's interacting with my cats, so I can sort of understand. I really hope that you can find Bunjamin a friend! I'm crossing my fingers for you guys and hoping Bunjamin finds a pal. So I'm emotionally and mentally spent. I had to write a paper on a documentary, Just, Melvin Just Evil, we had watched in my child psych class. I had missed part of the class where we had watched the video so I had to finish watching it at home. The documentary was insane. It kicked my butt. It was so emotionally draining and heart wrenching. I just can't understand the capacity for evil that some people have. I guess I'm just a bleeding heart. Besides that though, this past weekend was fun. My bf had work early Saturday morning and we had to watch his cousin for the weekend since his parents went out of town. So to keep the poor kid from dying from boredom I decided to drag him with me to the farmer's market. I've talked to his cousin before but not really had in depth conversations before with him. I was actually surprised by how much he was willing to talk to me when I took him out. He was rather an interesting person. I was just a little surprised by his view points since they were really different from his parents' and the rest of his family. I got some really beautiful red kale for Skipper to eat and this amazing spoon bracelet! The next pay check I get I think I'm going to get another one for my mom. =] |

Skipper and FF, what kind of behavior are you seeing? Finn likes to lay near our male cat Freddie (fatty), so does that mean that he's longing for companionship? also football is ridiculously boring. as much as I try to understand the rules I can never figure it out. Now roller derby, THAT I can get in to! Just watched the last bout of regionals. It was tied 124-124 with 1.5 minutes left. Texas scored 20 points in that 1.5 minutes and won. it was RIDICULOUS! |

Actually, until last year I DESPISED football... my boyfriends family has like 10 seats of season tickets though so I HAD to go -- well, then I decided to try and figure out the game (because there's nothing else to do there) and now that I understand the game I actually like it WAAAAAY more. Before it was all just a bunch of jibberish to me and really annoying, hahahaha. So I feel you guys on that one... And Pittsburgh is a GREAT city to start liking sports in because everyone is CRAZZZZY about sports here so it's a lot more fun to see everyone around you so riled up and excited. I guess it's contagious you could say! Crime and Punishment was kinda boring in the beginning but now that I'm halfway through I'm enjoying it a lot more and I'm really intrigued to find out what's going to happen! I'm sorry about the new bun, FF... you'll find one that you'll all love though! Eventually a bun will come into your home and make his way into your hearts (and Bunjamins) !!!! Just keep up the good work !!! |

Hmmm....I don't know how to explain it Zoologist. Skipper gets this desperate air about her when she sees the cats and sprints over to them when she sees them. She is constantly following them around like a puppy saying, "Love meeeeeeeeee". And she'll literally get under foot and squeeze herself in between their legs and the space of their bellies and the floor. And she's only content when they are licking her or allowing her to drape herself across them to sleep. The cats get real annoyed with the clingy needing to be right next to them and sleep with them and burrow into their side. The definitely see her as a petulant, annoying child. TL I find that a lot of the classic lit starts up that way. I am actually a huge hockey fan and get totally crazy when it's hockey season. Which for some reason everyone finds it as a shock when they find it out. I don't understand why. =p But I do agree that it is fun to see people riled up! I love the atmosphere when you see a live hockey game. It's so incredibly amazing and intense. |

LoveChaCha - I have never eaten a starfruit. I don't recall ever seeing it at the grocery store. I have had starfruit juice though. It was extremely popular in Costa Rica. They served it to us a lot. FF - I'm sorry it doesn't look like it's working. I do worry that you might be expecting too much too soon. When bunnies bow their heads like that, they are demanding to be groomed by the other bun. This most likely means Bunjamin wants to be top bun. If the other bun wants to be the boss, then you have what's happening now. As long as they aren't being super aggressive about it, it may be work waiting a little longer to see if they come to some sort of an agreement. Well, I had another crazy day. How do I tell my husband that I can't spend time every day going to every hardware store in town? I swear I am never home anymore because the second I get home he wants to go somewhere. How am I supposed to work on homework? =\ |

Thanks for the well wishes guys. I know that I can't expect magic on the first try. I really wasn't 100% sure he wanted a friend until today. He asked all of them for grooms. Didn't discriminate from the boys or girls. He fell in love with one and tried snuggling her. He leaned into her when she was next to him but she got aggressive and I think tried to nip him. Idk now they're all blurring together. He just needs to give up the grooms and he could be a happy bun! But he's stingy. Even I don't get them. Just the bean-bag, my purse, our bed, sheets, pillows, the carpet, rugs, andys slippers. Hmmm. LOL. I got really into hockey once (I still will always root for the wings). I also got into football once. Both times were not pretty. So I pretty much ignore it now. If I really watch it I get to into it My sister's fiance actually interviewed someone tonight with the wings about the lock-out I think for his blog. It's pretty famous with Red Wing's fans. |

Me and sports don't get along. Mostly because i think there are way better things to spend money on than professional athletes... just think how much better off we'd all be if that money was put into social programs and such. |
