Hi,

We are all very sad as my wife, Minstrel passed away last night. Mum has no idea what happened. She fed us around 6pm then went out for dinner with her mum. She came back just before ten and found Minstrel's body. There was a little diarrhea in her litter box. Minstrel always struggled with gaining and maintaining body weight. She's always been underweight no matter how much food she ate. She had lost a bit of weight the past few days but she quite often lost then gained weight. Maybe it was just her time and meant to be.

Mum's problem now is that I am constantly looking for Minstrel. I search the house over and over again, stamp my feet and cry for Minstrel. I am so clingy and want to be cuddled all the time. As soon as mum puts me down, I hunt for Minstrel. How can mum help me?

A very sad Doyskii

Is there a blankie or stuffed toy Minstrel snuggled in or with? That may help, if it still has her scent on it

Sorry to hear about poor Minstrel Binky Free, little lady!

I'm so sorry to hear about your loss. Tell your Mom to spend as much quality time with you as she can. Wish I could do more to help. **Hugs**

I am so sorry to hear about Minstrel. I think the idea of a favorite plushie or a blankie is excellent. Anything that may have had her scent on it, even wrapped in a washcloth so you can still smell it, may help for a few days.

But you will stop looking for her very soon, and just need to be comforted by your Mom. Snuggle a lot all week and after. It will make you both feel better.
Binky free, little Minstrel.

Hugs, I'm so sorry. I think a stuffed toy would be a good idea.
