I was super excited about going to Bunfest and shopping in Toronto with my Mom. We were supposed to leave on the 21st and stay for 3 nights. I figured I would have to cancel because Stormy is so unwell but with his diagnosis now, I'm definitely cancelling. I never travel so I'm pretty let down but my little man comes first. Was really looking forward to an all-bunny event.

Mom booked the time off so we will probably go to Halifax (a great shopping center in the next province that's less than 2 hours away) and just spend one night that weekend. Ricky will be home to look after Stormy and if something happens, we are only a couple of hours away and we can come home. I really need a little getaway. Things have been tough lately. 

Mom says we will go to Bunfest next year so I have that to look forward to.

Well, it's not exactly close to me. I would have to take a plane for about 40 minutes. If it was closer I would certainly go every year! There should be bunny celebrations everywhere, all the time!

We are having something down here in San Diego called Bunnyfest this Sunday. I don't think I am going this year though. =( I really wanted to though! I will talk to my mom more though because I was supposed to go with her too. lol

I'm sorry that you have to miss this event, it does sound like a great deal of fun.
I hope you'll get to enjoy your time with your mom in Halifax though. I 've always wanted to see this particular Canadian city.

I hope you have fun with your night away, even if its not the break you had planned. You sound like you need (and deserve) a break, and time with mom is always important (and fun! I love my Mom!).

Me, too. My Mom is a blast. I especially love how she loves animals and understands how important my bunnies are to me.

LPT: To bad you don't get to go to bunfest this year. Cool thing is, is that I might go next year! Maybe I will see you there! Its like a 13 hour drive for us but we might make a big camping trip out of it. I haven't ever left the country before! I am sure you will have fun with your mom!
