Skippers Mama - you are so lucky! That is me and my bf's dream - to move into a house with some privacy and space (for us, and for future animals)
And FF - the grey one sounds adoreable, but ohhhh, I've wanted a mini rex for some time now, and the coloring of that bun sounds really special.
What breed is your bunjamin?

Bunjamin is a mix. We know he has some dwarf because he's small. 2 lbs, 13 ounces! But he has a harlequin pattern. Other than that, it's a mystery!

I'm working on it! I had a boy's name picked out that was punny like Bunjamin. I need to start working on girls name but I guess I could find a good name and then the personality could not match... :/

Congrats MB! Sounds like it is the perfect job for you

In other news, I worked 11 hours yesterday and then had to study afterwards for a couple hours so I'm tired. I have my first microeconomics exam today and our professor is literally NUTS. So wish me luck! :/

Congrats on the new job, MB! I have to agree with FF, it definitely sounds like the perfect job for you!!!

Also, good luck FF! Is it micro one? I had the WORST professor for micro and he made it soooo difficult. My macro professor on the other hand was the BEST and made it so enjoyable. Which is funny - because everyone always said macro was harder to grasp than micro!

I heard the brats getting into something -- and turned away from my computer to look -- and be surprise, they were dragging the Craisin bag out of the bin which I didn't even know they could get into. All three of them! Such little bratscals. <--- my new name for my little terrors! I feel like if I ever get another bun of a different breed I'm not going to even know what to do with myself. I've always been told Tans are HYPERRRR and way more energetic than other breeds... and considering I never see them doing anything but causing trouble, I'm inclined to say it's probably an accurate statement. I so wish we could let them out 24/7 and have free roam but they can't even stay in their bunny proofed area without finding something to destroy! LOL. They would TEARRRR the house apart. When I was doing some major bunny condo cleaning yesterday, I walked through the bunny gate closing them into the other side and didn't even notice one had trailed along right behind me on my heels and I heard a huge munch noise and turned around and one of the black Tans was gobbling down a huge leaf of cilantro from the AeroGarden. Oyyyy veyyyyyy.

As some of you may have remembered -- my girl bun was INSANELY skittish before her spay and would barely let anyone ever touch her. I thought I'd give a little update -- since her spay she's completely turned around into a totally different bunny! It took a lot of time and effort but she's the SWEETEST of our bunnies yet. She hops in our laps and loves being pet and climbing all over us. It makes me feel so wonderful that her skittish personality has finally subsided with us. You can tell she'll never let anyone but us touch her but that's fine with me! She has also become one of our silliest bunnies yet! She is always being goofy and I LOVEEEE how much her personality has come out since her spay.

Still working on my Tan boy buns behavioral issues though with the litter box! My vet got me into contact with the local House Rabbit Society so I emailed them but they haven't e-mailed me back yet! Their response to my vet wasn't really what I was looking for -- she talked a lot about aggression between bunnies and their litter habits but he has no aggression towards the other rabbits at all, ever! So I emailed her back explaining the exact situation so hopefully she has ideas and gets back to me soon!

Congrats on the job MB!

Hope your test went well FF! I hoping the adopting process is still going well.  That's so great that you guys have a few options.   I'm sure Bunjamin will love one of them.

Tanlover I love hearing about what your little brascals have gotten up to. It always make me laugh.

Svandis I would love to live in the middle of nowhere in Norway where you live! That country is beautifullllllll. Middle of nowhere Florida on the other hand not so much.

I've actually started from scratch before when I moved to Florida with my mom and loved it.  It was a ton of fun.  This will be the first time that the bf and I will actually be moving out and starting from scratch together.  I kind of feel bad for him because he hasn't moved before whereas I'm pretty much the moving champ and have moved around a ton.   I'm more or less worried about having Skipper with carpet.  She has never seen it before and I am so afraid with her mischeviousness she'll rip it up and good lord would we be killed by our landlord.

Weird Weather, Barely out of the first month of Spring down here and we have already had a week of temps up in the high twenties now this!

Yesterday was 15C with howling gales, hale and thunder storms with a min temp of 8C. I know we are between a desert and an ocean but this is crazy.

Was planning to set up the bun room on Monday, how on earth am I going to keep them cool and unstressed during the moving process when we are going through early Summer temps

Thanks guys. It was microeconomics. I won't find out how I did until next Tuesday but I'll be busy enough this weekend not to think about it. We're still working on unpacking and we bought his and hers matching dressers last weekend from Ikea that we need to build. Along with some bunny-dating work. We need to start building a condo for the second bun

What's everyone else's weekend plans?

MB - Congrats on the job! It's always great to find a job of your own interest

TL - I, too, love hearing how mischievous your trio is xD I couldn't begin to imagine having to look after a trio right now hehe.

Well this weekend, I'm home bound! Bunny sitting :] And probably some painting in between her care. I tried doing a different style of painting than what I usually do & I don't think I really like it =/ Going to try and finish it anyway & will probably just not paint in that style anymore. Trial & error :] My parrot is absolutely loving all this attention since Mimzy is recovering from her spay. He just sits on my shoulder all day & gives me kisses ^-^ Bird kisses are just so cute<3 they kind of tickle, hehe. But he is getting spoiled! He screams often but I'm teaching him to whistle for attention/treats instead. So he's been getting a few cheerios here & there, some mango, & millet seed & plenty of cuddles!

Also probably going to be looking for a new aquarium filter for my turtle I went to clean his whole tank (75 gallons!) I think I've found that water pets are not for me :/ but I love him too much! Long story short, his filter has been a nightmare! It wont close all the way anymore so it ended up leaking a huge puddle on my carpet. I turned it off but it was pointless to keep trying to clean it up since it just kept leaking. I started trying to take it apart since it wasn't doing me any good but one of the intake tubes fell & spilled even more water. & in trying to take it out of my room, it spilled again! Definitely not fun =/ My dad came in to help so now we found one that has really good reviews! Poor turtle, he's been without one for some days now & his water is looking a little foggy already No more turtles for me! hehe

Had a busy day today and a busy weekend. My husband has finally decided to do something with the bathroom. So it seems every waking hour has been spent looking at tile and trying to match things. *sigh* I'm having a hard time telling him I have homework and other stuff I need to work on. Why is picking out tile so difficult?

Roberta, it would be nice it we were going into summer here. It is fall though. Still pretty nice though. I was warm today.

FF - Good luck! I hope you did well. I always did well with economics classes. Not sure why since I'm a science girl.

Awwww, poor Squirrel! Thankfully, we've had no accidents like that here! Let us know how the vet appt turns out tomorrow -- ***Sending good healing and healthy vibes his way!! ***

Ugh, it's been so cool out... I hate it but love it at the same time. I've really been enjoying when it rains out which is weird. I have no idea why... I've NEVER enjoyed rainy and gloomy weather. Maybe because I'm starting to get so old that I'm appreciating the little things. *facepalm*

Tonight my boyfriend and I went out for a really nice dinner at this place in Pittsburgh called Toast. Wasn't anything great for the money you pay... I would be willing to say that the apps were actually better than the dinner... and I got a red tomato risotto and for $21 I barely even had anything on my plate. My boyfriend is all into fancy food and fancy restaurants so I KNOWWW it was a terrible portion for it only being a rice dinner. But it was still good -- just wouldn't pay the money we did for what either of us got again. Some of the restaurants that are up and coming in Pittsburgh are DELICIOUS though. I still have yet to find a place here though that has just really good...homey food... if that makes sense. I want a place I DON'T have to dress fancy to go to yet have a good hearty meal in too! With it being worth the money... My BF's such a good cook from all his time spent practicing though that I'm probably just overly spoiled in the food department after a year and 3 months of being with him.

As for the rest of my weekend I don't think we're doing much... I would prefer to just sit around with my book and my buns all day for the next two days relaxing before I have to drift back to the real world of working... BLEH.

Maintenance is scary Whenever my dad puts in an maintenance order, he always tells them that a rabbit is living here and to close the front door (even though the front door area is wooden and Chacha HATES wooden floors) and to be quiet (if possible).

I have been working on an Accounting project and trying to get ahead in my other classes. I am so happy that this Fall quarter is a lot more relaxing, and everything is more spread out.

I'm going to the midnight release of Resident Evil 6 on Monday night =D I have to go wake up at 7 am the same day for class, so I'll play the game when I finish my homework for the day.

Has anyone picked up J K Rowling's new book?

Well, Squirrel got his little toes checked out, vet says it looks good, and should grow back in fine. And yes, he is indeed deaf Poor little man, I'll have to warn everyone coming in that he is deaf so they can let him know that they are there without freaking him out.

He weighs a whole 3lbs 3 ounces now, and Moosie is at 4lbs 2 ounces, the chubby man

Poor little Squirrel. But yay for his toe!!

ChaCha: I really want to read it, not because it sounds overly fantastic (it sounds perfectly fine but not world shattering) but because of the intense loyalty I feel for JKR after growing up on HP. :'}

I just looked at my to-do list and laughed. I really don't want to work. I want to lay on the couch with Cinnabun and do nothing.

Cinnnabun -- I know the feeling! Besides dinner and cleaning the bunny condo I don't think I have much to do at all. I cleaned everything yesterday so I could actually relax today! I'm currently doing my morning ritual of BB and then plan on snuggling in with my coffee and reading for the next few hours! LOVEEEE lazy days!

Glad Squirrel is okay and his toe will grow back!!! That's so sad that he's deaf. Has it hindered your relationship with him at all? My buns are all so little but I know at some point one of the three will have some kind of issue we have to deal with... especially as they get older so whenever I hear something about health issues on BB I immediately wanna know all about them so I can be prepared in the case they ever have to my little babies... Poor little guy... He's lucky to have a great bunny momma though!
